Berwyn CARES (Citizens Aligned to Renew Education for Students) is a non-profit organization created to unite residents interested in renewing and sustaining an enthusiasm, interest and passion for the education system in Berwyn.

Saturday, March 10, Berwyn Public Library: Meeting and Candidate Forum
At 12:30 pm, CARES will hold its annual general membership meeting. Elections to the board will be held, and the meeting will include time for members' feedback about what CARES is doing well and what it could do better in the future.
At 1:00 pm (same date and location, following the meeting), CARES and BUNGALO will co-host a Candidates' Forum for candidates seeking to represent our district in the Illinois House and Senate.
Saturday, March 17, Infusion Cafe, 10:00 am - 11:00 am: Education Committee Meeting
The Education Committee will meet for a progress check and some more brainstorming about future initiatives and events.
Monday, April 16, Heritage Middle School, 7:00 pm: Race to Nowhere Screening
CARES will sponsor a screening of the film Race to Nowhere, which will be free and open to the public. The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion with local educators and childhood development researchers.
